Blacktown Nursery

Due to COVID-19 restrictions The Blacktown Nursery is currently open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9 am and 3 pm.

Each year we offer our residents 2 free plants per property. It's all part of keeping our commitment to 'greening Blacktown'.

You can collect your annual allocation of plants from our Nursery once per financial year on Kent Street, Blacktown (inside Blacktown Showground). The Nursery is open to the public from 9 am to 3 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

You will need proof of residence in the Blacktown Local Government area (eg: rate notice, drivers licence).

Travelling plant giveaways

Additionally between August and October we carry out the ‘Travelling Plant Giveaway’ program at various locations.

A limit of 2 plants per residential allotment applies at each event.

  • There will be 2,500 plants available at each event to residents from the Blacktown City Local Government area, so first in first served.
  • Residents must bring along proof of residency.
