Community Satisfaction Survey


We are always trying to make our services better. An important part of doing this is talking to our community to find out what you need and want for our City.

Every 2 years we undertake a comprehensive community survey by phoning a sample of residents from all areas of Blacktown City. We ask questions about what’s important to you and how satisfied you are with what Council does.

Overall, our community has given us positive feedback in these surveys. The results in all surveys broadly show Blacktown City among the best performing of comparable Sydney councils.

Taking action

We take notice of what our residents tell us. We use the results of these surveys to help plan our programs. For example, we might investigate matters that are important to the community and come up with different ways to deliver these issues. Surveys are also used in reporting on our performance

The next Blacktown City community satisfaction survey will be undertaken in late 2021, with results available in early 2022.
