Our Creative City

Our Creative City, a new cultural plan for Blacktown City was adopted by Council in 2022. The plan was developed in consultation with the community and includes 6 key directions for the enhancement of culture, arts and heritage facilities and initiatives across the City.

OUR CONSULTATION AND ENGAGEMENT PROCESS

We engaged with the community through focused workshops and online surveys

• The survey opened on 10 March and continued until 20 April 2021

• 1,714 people responded to our survey, articulating what they value about creativity and culture in Blacktown City

• The 11 facilitated workshops were held at both Council venues and in community venues 

• 162 people participated in our workshops.
