Technology services

Computers are available at all Blacktown City Library branches.
Bookings are not required for general computer use however, valid library membership is required to access the computers.

Please bring headphones you can connect to a computer, if you wish to listen to audio.

All computers have an internet connection, and the following software installed:

• Web Browsers (Chrome and Edge)
• Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Basic Windows applications

All computer users need to comply with the Library Technology: Conditions of Use policy.

Wireless (wi-fi) internet is available at all Blacktown City Libraries branches. Daily limits apply.

Black and white, and colour printing and photocopying facilities are available at all Blacktown City Library branches.

*Please note, printing to A3 is currently unavailable however you are able to photocopy to A3.

Scanning facilities are available at all Blacktown City Library branches.
This service is free, and we recommend you bring a portable USB drive.
You can also scan directly to email. Please contact our staff if you need any assistance.

You can print from any Internet connected device, including your smartphone, tablet or laptop. The following branches offer mobile print facilities. Please click on your nearest branch for information on how to print and collect your documents.
