Join online
Visit any Blacktown City Library branch in person to complete your membership. You can also apply online before your visit.
Proof of name and current address is required, such as a driver's licence, rates notice or utility bill.
Please note: Those under the age of 16 must have a parent, guardian or guarantor accompany them to the library to sign the application form on their behalf, and the parent or guardian must provide proof of their name and current address.
After completing your registration, the library staff will issue your library card, and you'll be able to access the library's resources and services.
Simply join online, then follow the prompts to email the library with your request.
Please note: There are no identification requirements for e-membership. e-membership is open to interstate residents, and local residents.
You'll soon receive an email with your library membership details and instructions on how to use our online resources.
Organisations must provide an official letter on letterhead authorising a named person to join on their behalf, and provide full contact details of that individual.
