Rates Overpayment Refund

If you have overpaid your rates or made an incorrect payment, you can apply for a refund using one of the following methods:

Online

Click here and select “Rates Refund Request” to submit your application.

PDF Form

You can also complete the Rates Overpayment Refund Application(PDF, 192KB) and email it to council@blacktown.nsw.gov.au along with proof of your payment.

Important:

  • Ensure all fields are completed accurately.

  • Incomplete applications or missing evidence may delay processing.

Please allow up to 14 business days for your application to be processed.

A refund fee will apply as per our Fees and Charges Schedule and will be deducted from your credit balance.
