Roads openings, driveways and footpath works

From 1 June 2025 Vehicle Crossing and Road Opening applications (PDF or paper copy) will no longer be available. Only online application for Vehicle Crossing and Road Opening will be available through our website. From 1 July 2025 we will not accept paper or PDF copies of these applications. Paper or PDF applications will be returned to the applicant with a request to submit application online only.

We have a number of application forms relating to the various forms for the road openings, footway works, footway closure and occupation permits and driveway construction.

The application forms can be downloaded from the related information section below.

These forms may be used to make application to us, either by mail or by presentation of the relevant documentation at the service counter located on the ground floor of the Administration Centre.

Fees for each application are listed in our Goods and Services Pricing schedule.
