Blacktown City’s fishiest event is back in 2025 - the Family Fish In!

Held over the weekends of 1 - 2 and 8 - 9 of August, 600 trout will be game for all fishing enthusiasts wanting to try their luck at the perfect catch. All you need to bring is your own fishing rod, fishing line and bait (power bait is also available to purchase on the night). 

This event is proceeding under a permit from NSW Department of Primary Industries.

Terms and Conditions

By booking tickets you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. Stations are self-select. In the event that you do not select a fishing station- one will be automatically allocated to you. To ensure fairness to all patrons this operates on a first-in-first served basis and stations cannot be changed once the booking is complete. MAX 6 STATIONS PER BOOKING.

2. All children 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

3. The pool will be divided into minimum of 50 fishing stations.

4. Each session is 1 hour only.

5. Participants must supply their own fishing equipment including rods, fishing line & bait. (Bait is also available for purchase at the event, $4 per pack *CASH ONLY*)

6. Only 1 fishing line is permitted per fishing station.

7. 4 fish limit per person per person. Inspections will be made by event staff

8. No nets or lures are allowed. No jagging.

9. No sinkers or weights. Hook and bait only permitted on fishing lines.

10. Fishing rod or hand lines only.

11. No refund within 48 hours of your session start time.
