Vanessa Parkes began her career in 1987 at Blacktown City Council as a Trainee Health and Building Surveyor. She was Manager Environment for 14 years and appointed Director in 2018. She brings a variety of experience to the role and a thorough understanding of public health issues, environmental education and compliance, community regulation, animal management, environmental amenity and safety.
