Water sensitive urban design (WSUD) principles These principles should be used by developers and Council to guide the form and function of new development as well as Council operations and activities.
Why do we do water sensitive urban design (WSUD)? Council has adopted a WSUD approach to the management of water. Conventional urban development has a significant impact on the natural environment by altering the water cycle and conveying pollution to waterways.
