Warrick Lane precinct car park
The multi-level underground 482 space car park in the Blacktown CBD will open to vehicles on Monday 21 June 2021.
The new car park is built under a new plaza between Main Street and Yan Willama Road (formerly Warrick Lane), Blacktown, and features 3-hour parking with world-class facilities, including disability access, and lifts.
Car park hours are: 7 am to 11 pm every day.
Parking time limits apply and number plate identification equipment will be used to record car entry and exit times.
- Level B1 – 99 spaces, with 10 allocated for disability-only parking and the rest 3P parking
- Level B2 – 127 spaces 3P parking
- Level B3 – 127 spaces 3P parking
- Level B4 – 129 spaces reserved tenant-only parking.
How do I get to and from the new underground car park?
- From Sunnyholt Road: enter via a one-way westbound driveway to Yan Willama Road (formerly Warrick Lane) and proceed west to the car park entrance.
- From Main Street: enter via the Campbell Street traffic lights, turn right into the new Muru Way, then left into Yan Willama Road (formerly Warrick Lane) and then left into the car park entrance.
To leave the new multi-storey underground car park on Yan Willama Road:
- To get to Sunnyholt Road: turn right into Yan Willama Road and proceed to the Sunnyholt Road exit (left turn (north bound) only).
- To get to Flushcombe Road: turn left into Yan Willama Road (formerly Warrick Lane) and proceed to Flushcombe Road.
- To get to Main Street east of Sunnyholt Road: turn left into Yan Willama Road, left into Warrick Lane and left into Main Street and proceed to the traffic lights.
Ground level parking next to the plaza
Indented bays are provided at ground level above the underground car park with 12 parking spaces:
- the main plaza has 6 Loading Zone spaces, and 3 spaces for 30-minute parking

Frequently asked questions
1. Can I park all day in the public parking spaces?
No, the 353 spaces on levels 1, 2 and 3 are limited to 3-hour parking with 10 disability only spaces.
2. Can Mobility Permit holders park for more than 3 hours?
Yes, provided a valid Mobility Parking Permit is displayed.
3. How is parking compliance managed?
Parking is only permitted in marked spaces and is enforceable under the Local Government Act 1993. Signs with the conditions of entry are erected on each level of the car park.
The car park has number plate identification equipment to record car entry and exit times.
4. What will happen if I stay beyond the 3 hours parking?
Fines can be issued for exceeding the 3-hour time-limit and for parking illegally.
5. Can I lease spaces in the new car park?
No, the 129 spaces on level 4 are reserved for tenant parking only.
6. Are there any Electric Vehicle charging points in the car park?
Not yet. Electric cables are provided to 6 car parking spaces on each level, so that in the future we could install up to 24 'Electric Vehicle' charging points.
7. What is the height restriction to the car park?
Access is available for vehicles under 2.2 metres high.
8. Can I enter and re-enter the car park to be eligible for 3-hour parking?
No. Even if a vehicle is moved to a different parking space, if it remains within the car park the time-limit does not recommence.
9. Are there any parents with pram parking spaces?
No. All public spaces are available to the general public, with the exception for disability only parking spaces which are available to disability parking permit holders only.
10. What do I do if the car park is full when I enter?
There is a 10-minute grace period. Please proceed to the exit within the grace period.
11. Are there any bicycle parking rack areas in the car park?
No, the car park is for cars only. Bicycle parking racks are provided in various locations in the Blacktown CBD, including outside Blacktown Railway Station and Westpoint Shopping Centre.
12. Can I reserve a parking space online?
No, parking cannot be reserved.
13. How do I get my car if it is still parked there after the car park closes?
Please call 9839 6000 for assistance, however an infringement notice will be issued for vehicles left after closing and any cars let out after-hours will incur a release fee.
