Blacktown Nursery

nursery_1-1.jpg

Our nursery supplies native plants for conservation projects, including revegetation projects, National Tree Day and Bushcare events. Native seeds are carefully collected from our local bushland reserves and propagated at our nursery. This ensures the preservation of our City’s local biodiversity and native vegetation.

The nursery also grows plants for residents to plant in their yards.

Each financial year we offer residents 2 free plants for planting on their property. It’s all part of our commitment to ‘green the City’.

By planting these plants on your property, you will be:

  • providing habitat for local wildlife
  • producing oxygen and decreasing carbon dioxide
  • cooling our hot suburbs
  • living more sustainably.

You will need proof of residence in Blacktown City (for example: rate notice, driver’s licence) showing your property address.
