Eastern Creek Animal Quarantine Station The Eastern Creek Animal Quarantine Station, On the corner of Wallgrove Road and the M7 motorway the station which operated from 1979 to 2015, was at time of construction, the largest animal quarantine station in Australia.

Wallgrove Army Camp During World War 2, the Wallgrove Army Camp was used for training soldiers before they were sent overseas. The camp housed around 5000 troops. Post World War 2, the site was used by the Army and RAAF until the 1990s.
Wallgrove Migrant Camp The Wallgrove Migrant Hostel was one of 36 hostels in NSW opened after World War 2. It operated briefly from 1950-1952 and again in the 1960s. At its peak, the camp housed around 2,500 people while they searched for work and permanent housing.
