Busking

Busking is permitted at various locations in the Blacktown area.  A permit is required and can be obtained from our Events Team.

Anyone wishing to apply for a busking permit will need to register with Bookable and submit an application.

Applications will be assessed by our team and where approved, an annual fee of $55.50 will be invoiced. This entitles the busker to a maximum of 10 weeks or 70 days per year.

Terms and conditions

  1. No amplified music/voice is to be used.

  2. Busking must not unreasonably interfere with pedestrian flow, public amenities or cause obstruction to traders or delivery vehicles.

  3. The area being used for busking is to be kept safe and clean while working and ensure that the site does not pose a threat to public safety.

  4. Busking is only to be carried out in approved locations and not to be carried out on private property.

  5. We reserve the right to cancel the permit/approval at any time.

  6. The approval email must be produced when requested by police or Council officers.
