Peter grew up in rural Victoria before moving to Melbourne for work and study. Peter was initially employed by Melbourne City Council to wash traffic lights and parking meters, whilst he studied Town Planning part time in the evenings. Peter has worked in Local Government for over 35 years, in both Victoria and New South Wales, in councils ranging from the centre of Sydney to the urban fringe.
