Local Approvals Policy 2022

Our Local Approvals Policy 2022 (LAP) lists criteria for some approvals that are not regulated by State planning policies.

Part 1 of the LAP lists minor “exempt activities” (eg: install a caravan, stormwater drainage work, place waste on public land).

Part 2 of the LAP lists matters to consider for activities on public land.

Part 3 of the LAP describes the approval process for activities on public land.

The LAP became effective on 5 July 2023.
