Landscape design guidelines for development

We have 3 design documents to assist developers and contractors develop their landscape designs and ensure they achieve community and Council expectations for safe and liveable spaces.

Our Eyes on Blacktown - SP2 Landscape design principles(PDF, 424KB) will guide you in the process of developing landscape designs for SP2 lands. While SP2 land has an important drainage function, it is considered public parkland by our community.

Our Eyes on Blacktown - Landscape design manual(PDF, 4MB) provides design guidance for a range of items, including: edging, vegetation, park furniture, paths, walls, SP2 headwalls, fencing, gates, dog off leash area, signage, play and recreation, and road reserves. 

Our Eyes on Blacktown - Landscape strategy transport lines and hubs(PDF, 15MB) provides design direction to create places that are green, clean and healthy and work towards a sustainable future. This document provides guidance on design issues, functionality and intent, and promotes collaboration to improve the character and liveability of our City's public places.
