SPEECH PATHOLOGISTS

@ your Library

Support early speech and language development with Blacktown City Libraries!

If you are worried about your child's communication abilities, a speech pathologist can diagnose and treat children and help improve their speaking, listening, and reading skills. However, there have been reports of a 12 month waiting period to see a speech pathologist in Western Sydney, which can hinder early intervention efforts.

To support families who are waiting for professional help, Blacktown City Libraries has created a resource hub that includes videos by local speech pathologists, fact sheets from Speech Pathology Australia, material available in your local library, and more.
