Welcoming Cities
Blacktown City Council joined the Welcoming Cities network to help advance our community where everyone can belong and participate in social, cultural, economic and civic life.
Welcoming Cities is part of a growing network of more than 250 municipalities around the world. It supports local councils to become more welcoming and inclusive of their diverse communities.
The network is built around:
- knowledge sharing - supporting local councils and communities to learn from each other and access resources, research, policies and case studies.
- partnership development
- celebrate success
- standard and accreditation.
Welcoming Cities is an initiative of Welcoming Australia, supported by the Scanlon Foundation.
